Lunatic Productions ("we," "us," "our") operates Quest Log (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Free tier. Quest Log's free tier stores your notes, categories, and settings locally on your device using your browser's storage. We do not receive, see, or store this data on our servers.
Paid / cloud sync tier. If you use a cloud sync plan, we store the notes and settings you create so they can sync across your devices, along with account information such as your email address.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Basic usage data. Like most websites, our site and app may collect limited technical data (such as browser type or error logs) to help us fix bugs and keep the service running.
How we use information
- To provide and maintain the App and any cloud sync you've enabled
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To respond to support requests
- To fix bugs and improve the App
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention and deletion
Free-tier data lives only on your device — deleting the app or clearing your browser storage deletes it. For synced accounts, you can request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting us at contact@medievaljourneys.com.
Third-party services
We may use third-party providers to operate the App and this site, such as Stripe (payments), and a hosting provider (e.g. Vercel/Netlify) and, if enabled, a cloud database/auth provider (e.g. Supabase/Firebase). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
Quest Log is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
